Old Tahoma evokes thoughts of days gone by; a ‘better time’when things were slower, when neighbors had time to say hello to each other on the street, a time when the natural world was a bit less impacted.

Take some time this fall to appreciate the quiet from the Reunion House with sepia toned photographs of historic Old Tahoe lining the walls and a private hot tub perched beneath the Sugar Pines. This is the idyllic setting –all the makings of a great vacation!

Visit the West Shore’s legendary State Parks; Sugar Pine Point, D.L. Bliss and Emerald Bay- all just minutes away. The closest, Sugar Pine Point State Park, has arguably the most spectacular stretch of white sand beach at Tahoe. The park also offers fantastic hiking and nature trails, plus a historic mansion surrounded by lawn and forest leading to the beach and uncrowded protected shoreline. Not to be missed!

Tahoe National Forest, Desolation Wilderness and the Tahoe Rim Trail offer hiking and mountain bike trails which include easy rides through forests and meadows or challenging climbs to nearby peaks.

Take advantage of all the nearby amenities within walking or biking distance to the Reunion House. After a great day of skiing, take a soak in the secluded outdoor hot tub, prepare a delicious meal, and then curl up in front of the fire. You’ll find the cabin stylishly appointed and outfitted with everything you’ll need for your comfort, enjoyment and peaceful relaxation.

For those who prefer the tranquility of cross country skiing and snow shoeing, the Reunion House is located just half a mile from Sugar Pine Point State Park. Grab the day packs from the cabin, pick up sandwiches at our country market, and head off on a breathtaking excursion not to be missed! Once in the Park, follow easy machine groomed paths past towering Jeffreys and Sugar Pines that loom from Tahoe’s shore line. Stake out your favorite rock for lunch.

Winter Skiing Lake Tahoe

Take advantage of all the amenities in quaint Tahoma, which are within walking or biking distance of each home.
